Industrial technical doors and wind load resistance

Wind load resistance refers to the ability of a structure to maintain an acceptable deformation to pressures and depressions and to preserve its characteristics or properties.

The reference standard that regulates the wind load resistance of an industrial door is the UNI EN 12210 and passing the tests to which a sample is subjected is a guarantee of strength, minimum deformation, absence of breakage and opening due to this natural force.

This test is usually combined with water tightness and air permeability tests.
